
Immunology Sales Specialist – Ophthalmology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Achieve or surpass sales and expense objectives for the territory by creating and executing tailored strategies.
• Build and nurture professional connections with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Stay updated on company offerings and relevant medical conditions.
• Formulate Territory Business Plans, organize work schedules, develop calling strategies, and prepare for sales interactions.
• Create and execute territory initiatives such as speaker events and symposia to optimize sales potential.
• Establish and keep comprehensive customer records.
• Accurately complete administrative tasks in a timely and organized fashion.
• Present effective, up-to-date, and precise sales presentations to clients.
• Uphold a professional sales demeanor.
• Manage the designated sales territory in adherence to applicable regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences.
• Act as a results-driven salesperson, business collaborator, and consultant for immunology products aimed at supporting patients with autoimmune and rare diseases.
• Bachelor’s Degree and over 3 years of experience in Ophthalmology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of successful pharmaceutical or industry-related experience in Ophthalmology, or over 7 years of proven experience in this field.
• Preferred current experience within the territory and knowledge of customers.
• Experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas is highly favored.
• A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
• Strong understanding of clinical and disease state knowledge.
• Awareness of industry trends, economic factors, and market dynamics.
• Capability to establish new business opportunities and enhance existing customer relationships.
• Proficient in communicating clearly, concisely, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to leverage available information and support resources to address challenges.
• Willingness to travel locally, including some overnight trips depending on the region.
• Attend regional and national conferences throughout the year.
