This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Achieve or surpass territory sales and expense plan objectives by crafting and executing tailored strategies for the territory.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with targeted opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Stay informed about company products and relevant medical conditions.
• Create and execute a Territory Business Plan, along with daily and weekly work plans, call strategies, and sales-call preparations.
• Develop and implement territory initiatives such as speakers’ bureau programs and symposiums.
• Maintain comprehensive customer records permanently.
• Perform administrative duties accurately and punctually.
• Deliver engaging and precise sales presentations to clients.
• Uphold a professional sales demeanor in all business interactions.
• Manage the designated territory in accordance with regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s Degree with over 3 years of experience in Ophthalmology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with more than 5 years of experience, or over 7 years of proven success in pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent roles within Ophthalmology.
• Proven track record as a top performer.
• Exceptional clinical selling capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical aspects and disease states.
• Insight into industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics.
• Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Skill in developing new business and enhancing existing customer relationships.
• Capability to identify and utilize resources to address challenges.
• Experience selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease fields is preferred.
• Current experience in the territory and familiarity with customers is highly desirable.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• Willingness to travel locally; some overnight travel may be necessary.
• Ability to operate within relevant regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
