This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Achieve or surpass sales and expense objectives for the territory by utilizing targeted strategies.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of company offerings and relevant medical conditions.
• Formulate business plans for the territory, organize work schedules, outline call plans, and prepare for sales meetings.
• Create and execute territory initiatives such as speakers’ bureaus and symposia.
• Establish and update permanent records for customers.
• Accurately complete administrative duties in a timely manner.
• Present effective, accurate, and current sales presentations to clients.
• Maintain a professional image in sales interactions.
• Conduct operations within the designated sales territory in accordance with regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• Act as a results-driven salesperson, business partner, and consultant for patients suffering from autoimmune and rare diseases.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in Nephrology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of successful, proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry related to Nephrology, or 7+ years of proven industry experience in Nephrology.
• Preferred current experience within the territory and knowledge of customers.
• Experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease fields is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Local travel is necessary; some overnight travel may be required depending on the region.
• Proven track record of success as a top performer.
• Excellent clinical selling abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical data, products, adjunctive therapies, disease states, market dynamics, and customer/patient/practice landscapes.
• Capability to manage territory operations in line with company policies, procedures, regulations, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Proficient in developing territory business plans, call plans, and targeted account strategies.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal teams, opinion leaders, physicians, and external clients.
• Competent in identifying resources and resolving issues using available information and support resources.
