This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achieve or surpass the sales and expense objectives for the territory by creating and executing tailored strategies.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Stay informed about the Company's products and relevant medical conditions.
• Formulate Territory Business Plans, organize workdays and weeks, set up call strategies, and prepare for sales interactions.
• Create and execute territory initiatives, including speakers’ bureaus and symposiums.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive customer records.
• Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and punctually.
• Deliver effective and precise sales presentations to clients.
• Represent a professional sales persona in all business dealings.
• Manage the assigned sales territory in accordance with relevant regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and Company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s Degree with over 3 years of experience in Ophthalmology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with more than 5 years of experience, or 7+ years of successful, proven experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry within Ophthalmology.
• Proven track record of success as a top performer.
• Exceptional clinical selling abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical practices and disease states.
• Understanding of industry trends, economic factors, and market dynamics.
• Capacity to develop new business and enhance existing client relationships.
• Proficient in communicating clearly, concisely, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Capability to identify and utilize available resources for problem-solving.
• Current experience within the territory and knowledge of customers is highly desirable.
• Experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel locally; some overnight travel may be necessary.
• Availability to attend regional and national conferences.
