This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Achieve or surpass the sales and expense objectives for your designated territory by formulating and executing tailored strategies.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Stay updated on company offerings and pertinent medical conditions.
• Create and implement a Territory Business Plan along with call strategies and preparation for sales calls.
• Execute territory initiatives, including speakers’ bureaus and symposia, to optimize sales potential.
• Develop and uphold comprehensive customer records.
• Accurately complete administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Provide effective and precise sales presentations to clients.
• Maintain a professional sales persona.
• Conduct activities in accordance with applicable regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the calendar year.
• Engage in local territory travel, including some overnight trips as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Ophthalmology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or 7 years of proven successful experience in pharmaceutical or industry-equivalent roles within Ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated track record as a top performer.
• Exceptional clinical selling abilities.
• Strong understanding of clinical knowledge and related disease states.
• Awareness of industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics.
• Capability to generate new business and enhance existing customer relationships.
• Proficient in communicating effectively, concisely, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Skillful in identifying and utilizing available resources to address challenges.
• Preference for candidates with current territory experience and customer insights.
• Experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease sectors is a plus.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally, including some overnight stays.
• Ability to operate in compliance with pharmaceutical guidelines and company policies.
