Immigration Paralegal – LATAM, Caribbean

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage U.S. immigration cases autonomously from initiation to completion with minimal oversight or ongoing support.

• Provide assistance with immigration issues, specifically concentrating on L-1 and O-1 visa cases.

• Handle cases in accordance with the professional standards, processes, and workflows expected in a U.S. law firm.

• Communicate in a professional and effective manner with clients throughout their immigration processes.

• Deliver exceptional service while working with senior-level and high-profile clients.

• Ensure clear communication with attorneys and other legal team members during the course of each case.

• Collaborate effectively with a close-knit remote team while independently managing assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant professional experience in U.S. immigration law.

• Practical experience in independently managing immigration cases from start to finish.

• Professional background with L-1 and O-1 visa matters.

• Previous experience in a U.S. law firm and familiarity with U.S. legal standards and workflows.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficient or native-level English skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong skills in client communication.

• Capability to work independently without requiring basic immigration law training or ongoing supervision.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a close-knit team.

• Must reside in Latin America or the Caribbean.

• At least two professional references, ideally three, are required during the interview process.

• Resume must be submitted in English.

• Proficiency in German or Italian is a plus.

• Experience working with clients located in Germany or Italy is a plus.
