Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide support to one or more attorneys on the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) contracting team.

• Engage in the preparation of legal contract documents.

• Create document versions using templates for attorney evaluation.

• Manage subsequent document versions by incorporating revisions from clients or consultants.

• Integrate feedback and edits from internal collaborators.

• Aid in the intake, tracking, and management of open contract files.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a legal, contracts, administrative, business operations, project coordination, or a similar setting.

• Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and work independently with suitable guidance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, including skills in document formatting, tracked changes, comments, and document comparison features.

• High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with complex documentation.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

• Preferred experience in supporting contracts, legal documentation, compliance, procurement, business operations, or related areas.

• Preferred experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, healthcare organization, or another professional services environment.

• Preference for proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

• Familiarity with the healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or employee benefits sectors is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Consideration will also be given to an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
