Immigration Paralegal, LATAM – Caribbean

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take charge of U.S. immigration cases from initiation to completion with minimal oversight or continuous guidance.

• Assist with immigration issues, focusing on L-1 and O-1 visa applications.

• Handle cases in accordance with the professional standards, processes, and workflows expected in a U.S. law firm.

• Communicate with clients in a professional and effective manner throughout their immigration processes.

• Deliver exceptional service to senior-level and high-profile clients.

• Maintain open lines of communication with attorneys and other legal team members during each case.

• Collaborate with a close-knit remote team while independently managing your assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in U.S. immigration law.

• Proven experience managing immigration cases autonomously from start to finish.

• Professional expertise in L-1 and O-1 visa applications.

• Prior experience with a U.S. law firm and knowledge of U.S. legal standards and workflows.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficient or native-level English skills, both written and spoken.

• Excellent client communication abilities.

• Experience in engaging with senior, executive, or high-profile clients is highly regarded.

• Capability to work independently without the need for basic immigration-law training or ongoing supervision.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and a talent for effective collaboration within a close-knit team.

• Availability to work during regular New York business hours.

• Must reside in Latin America or the Caribbean.

• At least two professional references, preferably three, are required during the interview process.

• Resume must be submitted in English.
