This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations among Group entities.
• Examine intercompany discrepancies, pinpoint root causes, and collaborate with local Finance teams to rectify differences.
• Track outstanding intercompany balances and liaise with pertinent stakeholders.
• Assist with intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments for Group reporting purposes.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of intercompany data.
• Prepare and uphold standardized Group IFRS reporting packages.
• Review reporting packages for completeness, consistency, and adherence to Group reporting requirements and IFRS principles.
• Aid in the preparation of consolidated financial information and reporting schedules.
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial data and investigate any unusual movements or discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual Group reporting tasks.
• Maintain and review local-to-Group Chart of Accounts mappings.
• Identify and resolve mapping inconsistencies and assist in enhancing the Group reporting structure.
• Support local GAAP to IFRS transformations, including necessary adjustments and validation checks.
• Keep supporting documentation for IFRS transformation adjustments.
• Assist Group and local statutory audits by providing financial data, reconciliations, schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate audit requests with local Finance teams and follow up on any outstanding requests.
• Contribute to the standardization and continuous enhancement of reporting processes, templates, controls, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance recurring reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Collaborate with local Finance teams to foster consistent reporting practices and elevate financial data quality.
• Engage in Finance transformation and reporting enhancement projects.
• Work alongside Group Finance, local Finance teams, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure precise and timely reporting.
• Provide guidance on reporting requirements, templates, deadlines, and expectations for data quality.
• Communicate any reporting issues, discrepancies, or risks and assist in their prompt resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2–3+ years of pertinent experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, management reporting, or a similar finance role.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and practical experience in applying IFRS standards.
• Experience in Group reporting, consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations is a significant advantage.
• Proficient Excel skills and comfort working with financial data and large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Structured and organized work approach, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with Finance teams from various countries and entities.
• Experience in an international or multi-entity organization is a plus.
• Big 4 or audit experience would be advantageous.
• Prior experience supporting external or statutory audits is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial consolidation or reporting systems would be beneficial.
• Proficient working ability in English (both spoken and written).
• Fluent in Ukrainian.
