IFM Retail Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of services across the entire retail portfolio, ensuring that facilities services comply with contract stipulations, performance metrics, and client expectations.

• Lead and nurture management-level staff within geographically diverse teams, focusing on coaching, performance assessment, and succession planning.

• Manage relationships with vendors and oversee their performance in accordance with contract specifications and quality benchmarks.

• Promote continuous improvement, cost-saving initiatives, benchmarking, implementation of best practices, and innovation.

• Ensure the achievement of KPIs and SLAs while upholding governance and compliance standards.

• Establish and sustain client relationships through effective communication and outstanding service quality.

• Oversee annual budgeting, monthly budget performance reporting, invoice approvals, contract negotiations, and management of third-party expenditures.

• Advocate for diversity and inclusion, safety protocols, and JLL's core values of Teamwork, Ethics, and Excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.

• Over 10 years of experience specifically in managing retail facilities.

• Demonstrated managerial experience leading a team of Senior Managers.

• Strong capabilities in client relationship management and strategic execution.

• Independent leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Extensive experience in retail banking or managing a similar geographically distributed small-site portfolio.

• Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of commercial leases and contract documents.

• Familiarity with building systems, CMMSs, Microsoft Office, and AI tools.

• Superior financial skills along with budgeting and forecasting expertise.

• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship is mandatory.
