This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Process, comply with regulations, enter data, and maintain records for Independent Contractors.
• Ensure departmental records are kept up-to-date through prompt and accurate documentation.
• Evaluate requests for new Independent Contractors, confirming contracts and necessary documentation meet company and legal standards.
• Execute and assess MVR reports and background checks.
• Follow up with Operations Managers regarding any missing or unclear contracting documents.
• Provide assistance to Operations with contracting-related issues and procedural inquiries.
• Input Independent Contractor data into industry-specific software solutions.
• Assign vendor identification numbers to new Independent Contractors and relay this information to Operations.
• Address inquiries from Independent Contractors about driving opportunities, contracting prerequisites, and driver-related matters.
• Generate reports and perform analytical tasks.
• Organize and maintain Independent Contractor files, including daily documentation filing.
• Act as the main point of communication between internal field operations personnel and external inquiries.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of prior experience in administrative, legal, and/or compliance roles is essential.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Compliance and/or legal certifications are advantageous.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Strong computer skills; capable of navigating multiple screens effectively.
• Understanding of the Independent Contractor relationship is necessary.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks and standard responsibilities.
• Experience in customer service and/or personnel support is beneficial.
• Capability to establish trust and credibility within the organization.
• Effectiveness in a fast-paced working environment is crucial.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management software is required.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
