This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Service and maintain commercial HVAC systems at telecom shelters located at cell tower sites.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace components and complete cooling systems.
• Carry out performance evaluations and routine HVAC maintenance.
• Execute maintenance and upgrades on HVAC equipment that is out of season.
• Respond quickly to service requests, including emergency situations.
• Accurately complete daily work reports in a timely manner.
• Safely and legally operate and maintain a motor vehicle.
• Travel frequently to remote work locations, which may include occasional overnight stays.
• Work autonomously in a regional role supporting the telecom sector.
• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance; experience in a commercial setting is preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, especially refrigeration systems, is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Must adhere to OSHA, FCC, FAA, and EPA regulations.
• Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Deposit, New York.
• Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend service calls is required.
• Must be comfortable with extensive daily travel and independent work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various ambient temperatures.
• Capability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.
• Must be able to safely and legally operate and maintain a motor vehicle.
