HVAC Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and prolong equipment lifespan.

• Identify and address electrical and mechanical challenges across various HVAC platforms.

• Replace or repair components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats as necessary.

• Interpret and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.

• Keep clients and team members updated on service findings and suggest recommended actions.

• Maintain comprehensive service records detailing work completed, parts utilized, and system conditions.

• Carry out all tasks in accordance with safety standards, relevant codes, and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a commercial HVAC service position.

• Practical experience with RTUs, VRV/VRF, VAV, split systems, chillers, boilers, and air handling units (AHUs).

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.

• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.

• Willingness to travel throughout the state of Colorado.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation effectively.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.

• Valid driver's license and capability to travel to job sites.

• NATE certification or an equivalent is preferred.

• Familiarity with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms is preferred.
