This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assess humanities-related work outputs for precision, depth, and professional standards.
• Evaluate arguments, interpretations, and conclusions to ensure adequate support.
• Spot factual inaccuracies, unsupported claims, reasoning gaps, and absent context.
• Analyze materials related to arts, culture, and cultural interpretation for correctness, nuance, relevance, and conceptual clarity.
• Review research-based content for factual integrity, contextual quality, evidential support, sourcing logic, terminology, references, and interpretations.
• Examine written content for organization, clarity, intellectual coherence, narrative progression, argument development, and suitability for the intended audience.
• Scrutinize documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations for accuracy, completeness, visual clarity, narrative flow, and professional standards.
• Identify issues related to factual accuracy, analysis, aesthetics, formatting, and visual elements.
• Evaluate related documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as a cohesive set for consistency.
• Measure assigned outputs against domain-specific quality benchmarks.
• Deliver clear, structured written feedback elucidating identified strengths and weaknesses.
• Consistently apply evaluation standards across work products in the humanities, arts, and culture sectors.
• Over 5 years of pertinent professional experience in humanities, arts, cultural studies, cultural research, arts administration, academic research, or a closely aligned field.
• Strong practical knowledge in humanities, arts, or cultural analysis.
• Experience in creating or reviewing research materials, cultural content, reports, professional documents, or similar outputs.
• Capability to evaluate content for factual accuracy, contextual depth, analytical quality, and cultural significance.
• Strong critical thinking abilities and exceptional written communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint / Google Slides.
• Strong spreadsheet management and analytical capabilities.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to provide precise and structured feedback.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this position.
• Part-time independent contractor position.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Flexible scheduling according to project requirements.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project demands and performance.
