Human Resources Student Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide administrative support and daily assistance to the Human Resources Department.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for Foundation programs.

• Assist HR Business Partners and HR personnel with Workday Business Process transactions.

• Deliver HR services with precision, timely responses, excellent customer service, and strong relationship-building skills.

• Collaborate with various Foundation departments and program areas to achieve the objectives of the Business Insights department.

• Manage JIRA HR Help Desk tickets for all employees.

• Address requests from the Jobs Inbox for the Talent Acquisition Team.

• Provide occasional support for Salesforce programs.

• Assist with employee relations, onboarding and offboarding processes, and data modifications in Workday (HRIS).

• Support enrollment in the CalPERS retirement system.

• Review the new hire report and share it with Back office teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be an actively enrolled student at a higher education institution.

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

• At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service-focused environment is required; experience in an office setting is preferred.

• Must currently be enrolled at an accredited college or university.

• Must maintain a minimum of six (6) semester units or nine (9) quarter units.

• Minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.

• A major in Human Resources or a business-related field and/or relevant experience is preferred.

• Must be a resident of California.
