Human Resources Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main HR liaison for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations.

• Handle sensitive employee relations issues and terminations, which include calls, meetings, and legally compliant documentation.

• Establish and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.

• Counsel clients on benefits, compliance, and workforce planning strategies.

• Offer in-country HR insights on labor laws and cultural nuances specific to Southern Europe.

• Assess and provide guidance on employment contracts and risk management.

• Assist clients with Performance Improvement Plans and ensure timely adjustments to salaries.

• Act as the main contact for employee immigration and mobility requirements in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.

• Identify tasks that can be delegated, document processes, and facilitate seamless transitions.

• Promote automation and the use of AI to enhance HR workflows.

• Lead compliance governance initiatives across Southern European markets.

• Spearhead global initiatives to standardize and enhance HR practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR.

• Proficient in both French and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Extensive knowledge of labor laws and a robust understanding of employment regulations throughout Southern Europe, particularly in France (portage salarial).

• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations matters.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Technologically proficient with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.

• Familiarity with the EOR industry is preferred.

• Experience working in other Southern European nations, including France, is preferred.
