This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the key HR partner, fostering trusted relationships with Design leaders and staff.
β’ Address issues related to employee relations, performance challenges, workplace investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
β’ Assist managers with performance improvement initiatives and the documentation of employee relations issues.
β’ Stay informed about the Employee Handbook, Operations Manual, and Environmental Health & Safety Manual.
β’ Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
β’ Guarantee that employment documentation and records are precise, secure, and ready for audits.
β’ Suggest and implement process enhancements through automation and new technologies.
β’ Develop and implement workforce strategies that align with operational priorities and long-term goals.
β’ Facilitate workforce planning, identifying talent shortages, organizational risks, and future capability requirements.
β’ Aid in change management initiatives amid organizational transitions and growth.
β’ Utilize HR data, analytics, and predictive insights to enhance decision-making, retention, and performance results.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to address HR issues and challenges.
β’ Drive engagement strategies to improve retention and employee connection in a remote-first environment.
β’ Comprehend the needs of employees and leaders primarily working in the field at client locations.
β’ Complete assigned tasks and deliverables punctually and within budget.
β’ Perform other related duties as required.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role is preferred.
β’ Experience supporting various business units such as field operations, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or plumbing is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with effective human resource processes and best practices.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to influence across all levels.
β’ Proficient in establishing trust, managing sensitive situations, and upholding confidentiality.
β’ Experienced in using Rippling or a comparable HRIS.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills for managing files effectively.
β’ Ability to thrive in a remote, high-accountability environment with competing priorities.
β’ Capability to utilize AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and enhance operational processes.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 15% as necessary, potentially to any or all 50 U.S. states.
β’ An HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, or an MS in Human Resources or Organizational Development, is advantageous.
