This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Act as the internal Human Resources representative among corporate HR stakeholders, hotel leadership teams, and outgoing management companies.
β’ Gather, organize, and oversee Human Resources due diligence documentation and requirements.
β’ Coordinate and confirm census-data job mapping prior to uploading information into Workday.
β’ Execute Workday transition imports for hourly employees and management offer letters.
β’ Prepare, issue, and monitor management offer letters.
β’ Arrange and lead onboarding sessions with the Transitions Director of HR.
β’ Review census data before and after each transition.
β’ Recruit for non-executive committee roles at transition hotels.
β’ Ensure the completion of tax tasks prior to the first payroll.
β’ Assist with secondary job codes and rates, as well as inputting associate punches during the first payroll.
β’ Support on-site transition activities and onboarding and training for newly appointed Human Resources leaders.
β’ Conduct regular follow-up calls with transition-property HR teams, including weekly check-ins during the initial 30 days and follow-ups at 60 and 90 days.
β’ Help with Workday system cleanup and data validation before, during, and after transitions.
β’ Collaborate with Benefits to guarantee accurate data entry and prompt benefit enrollments.
β’ Provide guidance to hotel leadership on HR processes, onboarding, and transition activities.
β’ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws as well as company policies.
β’ Assist with additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
β’ A minimum of 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a hotel setting is required.
β’ Experience with Workday is necessary.
β’ Prior experience supporting hotel openings, acquisitions, or multi-property operations is highly preferred.
β’ Strong organizational and project management abilities.
β’ Capability to manage multiple transitions and competing priorities at the same time.
β’ Effective professional communication skills with associates and leaders at all levels.
β’ Keen attention to detail and ability to accurately manage large volumes of associate data.
β’ Knowledge of Human Resources practices, onboarding procedures, recruiting processes, and employment compliance requirements.
β’ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β’ Strong problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Capacity to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive associate information.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources systems.
β’ Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Ability to tailor communication style to various audiences.
β’ Frequent travel is required, estimated at 60β70%.
