This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of the overall administration, strategy, and compliance for the human resources department.
β’ Spearhead recruiting strategies, benefits administration, employee relations and investigations, performance management, policy development, and legal/regulatory compliance.
β’ Deliver leadership and ensure quality control over recruiting coordination, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS administration, and benefits servicing.
β’ Offer subject-matter expertise in recruitment, compensation, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, succession planning, and policy development.
β’ Make hiring decisions for HR Department personnel and oversee performance evaluations, training requirements, probationary actions, and dismissals.
β’ Analyze and oversee benefit programs, including strategies for Service Contract Act-covered personnel.
β’ Act as the primary liaison with group health, workers' compensation, and retirement plan providers.
β’ Address HR grievances and employee relations issues.
β’ Ensure adherence to federal and state laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
β’ Guarantee that managers consistently enforce company policies and resolve elevated employee grievances.
β’ Manage the termination process, including conducting exit interviews and reporting findings and recommendations to leadership.
β’ Carry out workplace investigations and maintain compliant recordkeeping.
β’ Prepare and assess personnel metrics, including turnover, applicant tracking, Affirmative Action/EEO, and compensation data.
β’ Track developments in employment and labor law and lead compliance risk analysis, remediation, audits, and training initiatives.
β’ Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle from requisition through onboarding, while monitoring recruiting metrics.
β’ Direct the strategy and data governance for Paylocity HRIS.
β’ Manage HR Department communications, the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge management.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
β’ A Master's degree is preferred.
β’ At least 7 years of progressive HR generalist or management experience is required.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations management, benefits, and compliance is essential.
β’ Strong experience in benefits administration is necessary.
β’ Solid understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations is required.
β’ Previous supervisory experience with proven methods for mentoring and developing direct reports is essential.
β’ Prior experience with federal government contracts and the Service Contract Act (SCA) is strongly preferred.
β’ Ability to perform all functions using independent judgment and decision-making skills.
β’ Strong analytical, time-management, and prioritization abilities are required.
β’ Excellent communication skills, effective with all levels of employees and organizational leadership, are essential.
β’ Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems, such as Paylocity, is required.
β’ Capability to handle personal data with confidentiality and maintain professionalism in all settings is essential.
β’ PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
β’ Must be a U.S. citizen.
β’ Must pass a Public Trust background check.
β’ Full-time exempt position.
β’ Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, ranging from 40 to 60 hours per week.
β’ Virtual/remote work options are available.
β’ 20% local and regional travel may be necessary, including overnight stays.
