This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and manage HR Generalists and Coordinators.
• Set clear expectations, standards, and operating rhythms to ensure consistent HR support across various regions.
• Offer coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance both individual and team performance.
• Monitor the distribution of workloads, responsiveness, and the quality of service delivery.
• Create a robust internal pipeline of HR talent through effective development and succession planning.
• Provide guidance and support for complex employee relations issues, including escalation when necessary.
• Oversee internal investigations, corrective measures, and their outcomes.
• Assist with disciplinary actions, terminations, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Clinical leaders on matters related to employee relations, performance management, and team effectiveness.
• Manage EEO-1 reporting, state-specific reporting, OSHA logs, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Supervise personnel record retention, audits, and requirements for employment law postings.
• Work closely with HR leadership and Legal to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Identify and implement enhancements to HR processes, tools, and workflows.
• Lead the standardization, documentation, training, and adoption of processes across regions.
• Monitor performance metrics, including HR capability, case resolution, compliance completion, audit results, stakeholder response times, and retention trends.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, focusing on employee relations and compliance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing HR staff.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices and relevant employment laws.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 10 pounds.
• Capability to sit, type, and view screens for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a multi-state environment and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
