This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main HR liaison for both employees and management.
β’ Offer advice on policies, benefits, leave, performance management, and employee relations.
β’ Assist managers with development discussions, performance evaluations, and corrective measures.
β’ Conduct and facilitate employee relations inquiries and workplace investigations.
β’ Manage employee benefits, including open enrollment, compliance, brokers, and vendors.
β’ Process and audit payroll through Paylocity, covering employee changes, earnings, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, and corrections.
β’ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
β’ Perform exit interviews and oversee offboarding procedures.
β’ Maintain job descriptions, job-leveling frameworks, and compensation structures.
β’ Assist in performance reviews by providing tools, guidance, and training.
β’ Organize training sessions focused on performance management, managerial effectiveness, compliance, and employee engagement.
β’ Keep track of employment laws and suggest updates to policies and procedures.
β’ Compile and analyze HR reports and workforce data.
β’ Enhance HR processes, templates, programs, and resources.
β’ Work collaboratively with the HR team to provide consistent HR services.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
β’ At least five (5) years of progressive HR experience assisting managers and employees in payroll, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, federal and state employment laws, and the complete employee lifecycle.
β’ Experience in processing and auditing payroll using an HRIS or payroll system.
β’ Familiarity with an HRIS for onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, reporting, and management of employee data.
β’ Strong judgment and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information.
β’ Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
β’ Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Ability to operate effectively in a remote, distributed work environment.
β’ Candidates must reside in the United States.
β’ Preferred: experience in a government contracting setting.
β’ Preferred: proficiency with Paylocity.
β’ Preferred: experience in an employee-owned (ESOP) organization.
β’ Preferred: experience supporting a remote workforce in consulting, health IT, or professional services environments.
