Human Resources Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Report to the HR Manager.

• Act as an HR Business Partner to Project leadership.

• Deliver human resources services, including records management, AA/EEO compliance, and personnel transactions.

• Maintain HR records and employee files in line with compliance regulations and policies.

• Collaborate closely with payroll and other departments while managing confidential information.

• Work with HR leadership and Operations to troubleshoot issues and provide coaching and consultation on employee relations and performance management.

• Create human resources solutions by gathering and analyzing information and suggesting courses of action.

• Support employees by identifying concerns, clarifying issues, assessing potential solutions, and executing selected solutions.

• Safeguard organizational information by upholding confidentiality.

• Monitor and advise on federal, state, and local legal requirements and legislation.

• Assist in onboarding new employees.

• Conduct both voluntary and involuntary exit meetings with Project Leadership.

• Manage assignments and provide support to the Project as required.

• Supervise day-shift and night-shift employees according to business needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be willing to travel as necessary.

• Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist.

• Familiarity with general human resources policies and procedures.

• Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving aptitude.

• Commitment to teamwork with a results-oriented approach.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field.

• Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, as required by business needs.

• Capability to handle highly confidential information.

• May encounter extreme cold or hot weather, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

• May need to remain stationary, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.

• May occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.
