This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Facilitate the complete onboarding process from the acceptance of the offer through the initial 90 days.
β’ Act as a point of contact for new employees, providing information on next steps, timelines, and expectations in both English and Spanish.
β’ Distribute pre-boarding welcome packets, details for the first day, and information for new hires.
β’ Arrange travel for new hires who are traveling or relocating for orientation and job placements.
β’ Ensure readiness for Day 1, including equipment, system access, personal protective equipment (PPE), workspace, and site-specific requirements.
β’ Collaborate with IT, Safety, Payroll, and Operations to set up accounts, credentials, badges, and tools.
β’ Support new-hire orientation sessions, company presentations, policy reviews, and benefits information.
β’ Handle E-Verify, I-9 verification, background checks, and drug screening processes.
β’ Maintain records in Paycom HRIS, manage personnel files, and complete personnel action forms.
β’ Monitor onboarding milestones and engage with stakeholders to address any gaps.
β’ Enhance onboarding checklists, workflows, and resources.
β’ Offer frontline HR support and respond to employee inquiries.
β’ Assist with offboarding procedures, equipment returns, and system deactivation.
β’ Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and site badging in collaboration with vendors.
β’ Undertake additional HR projects and responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.
β’ A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ Experience with HRIS is mandatory; Paycom experience is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 3 years in HR, onboarding, or employee experience coordination is preferred.
β’ Coursework or certification in HR is advantageous.
β’ Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
β’ Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
β’ Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple new hires and onboarding schedules.
β’ Keen attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
β’ Competence in coordinating travel logistics and vendor interactions.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
β’ Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
β’ Willingness to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, including overtime and possible night or weekend shifts as necessary.
β’ Capability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
β’ Ability to perform necessary office mobility and physical tasks.
