πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as a reliable partner to the leadership of the assigned business group in North America regarding people-focused priorities and initiatives.

β€’ Work in collaboration with People Operations Americas, Talent Acquisition, and Centres of Expertise on essential people processes.

β€’ Assist in performance management, talent development, succession planning, and compensation initiatives.

β€’ Provide guidance and coaching to managers on policies, employee relations, performance management, and engagement issues.

β€’ Aid in the integration of new acquisitions, focusing on onboarding and cultural alignment.

β€’ Support workforce planning, identify capability gaps, formulate resourcing strategies, and enhance recruitment and retention efforts.

β€’ Facilitate performance calibration, talent assessments, and succession planning discussions.

β€’ Contribute to global People team initiatives and process improvements.

β€’ Enhance employee engagement, promote SLR principles, and foster positive workplace culture initiatives.

β€’ Engage in learning and development programs, guiding career progression, skill enhancement, and professional growth.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or a related field from an accredited Canadian or US institution.

β€’ Over 12 years of progressive HR experience, including HR business partnering in multi-location and complex organizational settings.

β€’ Proven ability to collaborate effectively with managers and leaders, fostering strong relationships and delivering practical advice.

β€’ Experience in supporting the integration of new teams or acquisitions is a plus.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of performance management, talent development, succession planning, and compensation strategies.

β€’ Familiarity with US employment laws across various states; experience with Canadian legislation is advantageous.

β€’ Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how HR aligns with business objectives.

β€’ Insight into employee engagement factors and experience in supporting culture and engagement initiatives.

β€’ Capability to coach and advise managers on employee relations and people management challenges.

β€’ Excellent collaboration and communication skills across various teams and functions.

β€’ Practical experience with HR systems; preferred experience with Workday.

β€’ Professional HR certifications such as CHRP, CHRL, PHR, or SHRM-CP are preferred.
