This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver comprehensive assistance for the daily activities of the Human Resources Business Partner team.
• Implement HR policies and procedures effectively.
• Initiate resource planning and foster communication across departments.
• Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to align with client and business objectives.
• Assist with HR transactions, encompassing document management, HRIS data entry, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and special projects.
• Research and compile data and metrics to support HR strategy development.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies.
• Address internal and external customer inquiries and provide timely updates.
• Coordinate employee onboarding processes with Talent Acquisition, the HR Business Partner, and the hiring manager.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Evaluate policies and practices to uphold compliance.
• Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure employee files and records are maintained in the appropriate electronic format.
• Resolve employee concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience as a Human Resources professional is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• PHR/SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
• Experience providing support to a remote workforce is preferred.
• Background in higher education is preferred.
• Experience in a technology-driven organization is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, along with human resource principles, practices, and processes.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documents and workflow.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Capacity to effectively build relationships with faculty, staff, and leadership.
• Ability to actively listen to clients’ circumstances, issues, expectations, and needs.
• Proficient communication skills in both oral and written forms.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Self-motivated individual able to take ownership of HR initiatives and implement effective solutions.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Intermediate knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software related to Human Resources Information Systems.
• No travel is required.
