Human Resource Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable HR partner for leadership, managers, and employees across various Allied Roofing Partners companies.

• Offer guidance on matters related to employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations in multiple jurisdictions.

• Keep precise employee records and assist with HR audits, compliance reporting, and coordination of workers' compensation.

• Manage the onboarding process and facilitate new-hire orientations.

• Aid in benefits administration, address employee inquiries, and oversee compensation review processes.

• Contribute to leadership development programs, necessary training initiatives, and employee engagement activities.

• Monitor mandatory compliance training and certifications across various locations.

• Utilize HR systems and reporting tools to maintain records, produce reports, and support HR decision-making.

• Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance processes and HR initiatives across multiple sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, including roles as an HR Manager or senior HR Generalist.

• In-depth knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR compliance obligations.

• Experience in supporting employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.

• Must reside within the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

• Availability to occasionally address employee issues or manage a work site injury outside regular hours, including weekends.

• Self-driven with the capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple priorities.

• Professional communication skills and the capacity to handle sensitive matters discreetly.

• Proficient in using HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred).

• Familiarity with project/task management platforms (Monday.com preferred).

• Experience in supporting acquisitions or business integrations, including the implementation of HR systems, policies, processes, and employee transitions.

• Background in supporting organizations with multiple locations.

• Must have a professional home office equipped with reliable internet.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Successful completion of the required TestGorilla HR skills and knowledge assessment.
