This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Oversee the human resources operations for designated business units
β’ Deliver comprehensive HR Business Partner support to the leadership of business units
β’ Convert business requirements into HR solutions that align with organizational goals
β’ Address workforce needs and create strategic talent management and workforce plans
β’ Provide guidance on organizational development requirements
β’ Manage a team of HR professionals responsible for HR operations and functions
β’ Direct the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of HR strategic initiatives
β’ Establish standards for project management, methodologies, governance frameworks, and reporting systems
β’ Supervise a range of strategic HR initiatives, including prioritization, sequencing, resource distribution, and risk management
β’ Navigate complex cross-functional projects using disciplined project management approaches
β’ Track milestones, deliverables, budgets, and success metrics; identify dependencies, barriers, and risks
β’ Facilitate the resolution of issues and support decision-making processes
β’ Create executive- and Board-ready presentations, dashboards, strategic updates, and communications
β’ Formulate integrated change management strategies in collaboration with the HR Leadership Team
β’ Advocate for project management excellence throughout the HR department
β’ Assist in budget and resource planning and monitor expenditures for strategic programs
β’ Offer insights into initiative costs, resource distribution, and budget performance
β’ Support business cases and investment proposals for HR programs, technology, and transformational initiatives
β’ Cultivate relationships with senior leaders, business partners, Centers of Excellence, and functional stakeholders
β’ Integrate teams and initiatives to foster organizational alignment
β’ Encourage cross-functional collaboration and execution of enterprise-wide priorities
β’ Enhance HR processes, programs, and operational practices
β’ Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance service delivery, and minimize complexity
β’ Utilize metrics, stakeholder feedback, lessons learned, and performance data to promote continuous improvement
β’ Introduce best practices that enhance organizational effectiveness, project execution, and operational performance
β’ Collaborate across HR to create scalable solutions that boost productivity, quality, employee experience, and business impact
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline is required; advanced degree is preferred
β’ At least eight years of progressive experience in HR, Strategy & Operations, Program Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Business Operations, or related fields
β’ Proven success in leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning to implementation, achieving measurable business results on time and within budget
β’ Established experience in creating project management disciplines, governance processes, and operational frameworks
β’ Experience in managing budgets, resources, and financial oversight for strategic programs and initiatives
β’ Ability to cultivate trusted relationships, influence senior leaders, and facilitate collaboration within matrixed organizations
β’ Demonstrated history of leading continuous improvement, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives
β’ Experience partnering directly with executive leadership teams and supporting enterprise-level decision-making
β’ High proficiency in Smartsheet, including advanced formulas, workflow automations, relational data tools, and executive dashboards
β’ Outstanding executive communication, presentation development, and storytelling abilities
β’ Willingness to travel as required
