This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as a reliable advisor and mentor to leaders, managers, and employees, offering daily HR guidance that aligns with business objectives and employment legislation.
• Utilize HR metrics and people analytics to discern trends, evaluate risks, and influence business strategies.
• Address complex employee relations issues with fairness, consistency, and solid judgment.
• Collaborate with leaders on performance management, workplace culture, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations across a multi-state workforce.
• Spearhead workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, change management, and skills-gap assessments.
• Identify and implement training, reskilling, and upskilling initiatives in various formats, including in-person, virtual, and technology-enabled.
• Work alongside Payroll and managers regarding time and attendance, compensation practices, and timekeeping.
• Develop and oversee skills-based, inclusive recruiting and selection processes in collaboration with hiring managers.
• Advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility throughout HR and talent practices.
• Facilitate onboarding processes that enhance new-hire productivity and cultural integration.
• Responsibly leverage HR technology and AI tools while safeguarding employee privacy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Learning teams.
• Provide support to branches within the midwestern region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, or a related area; equivalent experience may be taken into account.
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience encompassing employee relations, talent acquisition, talent development, compensation, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Proficient understanding of HRIS, payroll systems, timekeeping, and learning management platforms such as Kronos, Workforce Dimensions, or UKG Pro.
• Competence in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Capability to utilize HR data and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Familiarity with AI tools or automation to enhance HR workflows.
• Strong judgment concerning confidentiality and data privacy.
• Experience in supporting a multi-state workforce.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or metals environments is preferred.
