This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance onboarding processes continuously
• Manage HRIS data and workflows using Paycor
• Collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure payroll data and timekeeping records are accurate and processed timely
• Administer benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k)
• Organize the annual open enrollment process and facilitate benefits renewals, vendor communications, and employee education
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC
• Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues
• Conduct or assist with investigations while ensuring proper documentation and confidentiality are upheld
• Coordinate and monitor performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and professional development activities
• Provide coaching and advice to managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance enhancement strategies
• Generate and evaluate HR metrics such as retention, turnover, and engagement trends
• Assist with compliance audits, DCAA reporting, and government-related HR documentation needs
• Partner with leadership on cultural initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications
• Regularly evaluate HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in various areas including benefits, employee relations, compliance, and performance management
• Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience in benefits administration and HRIS data management
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Capability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity
• Prior experience with Paycor HRIS modules is preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or in progress) is preferred
• Background in a government contracting or technology sector is preferred
