
HR Specialist β Hardship Cases

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Act as a compassionate point of contact and deliver comprehensive case management services to employees and their families during times of loss, serious illness, crises, and other urgent situations.
β’ Assess hardship transfer requests and assist employees by offering resources pertinent to their circumstances.
β’ Elevate issues or challenges to the appropriate partner teams.
β’ Provide updates and communicate status changes to associates and site HR teams throughout the process.
β’ Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making abilities when evaluating hardship requests.
β’ Utilize independent judgment in handling complex cases to determine transfer eligibility.
β’ Manage sensitive cases involving domestic violence, homelessness, self-harm, and bereavement.
β’ Apply critical thinking to effectively address evolving situations and foresee potential challenges.
β’ Work in conjunction with the Global Crisis and Issues Management Response (GCIMR) team to evaluate high-risk scenarios and potential reputational risks.
β’ Collaborate with Global Security Operations (GSO) to reduce risks through established controls.
β’ Identify root causes of high-volume inquiries and trends within the Building-to-Building operational process.
β’ Partner with People Experience and Technology (PXT), Ethics, Compliance, Legal, and MHLS Operations teams.
β’ Background in human resources.
β’ Experience in employee relations.
β’ Skills in adjudication.
β’ Strong judgment capabilities.
β’ High level of empathy.
β’ Proficiency in HR administration.
β’ Competence in Microsoft Office.
β’ Experience in customer service.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or in a contact center role with equivalent experience.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Exemplary judgment.
β’ Strong skills in research and root-cause analysis.
β’ Proven ability to independently resolve issues.
β’ Experience collaborating cross-functionally to address complex challenges.
β’ Background in managing confidential and sensitive employee information.
