HR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main HR liaison for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations.

• Handle sensitive employee relations matters, participate in calls or meetings, and create legally compliant documentation.

• Establish and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal consultants.

• Act as the initial point of contact for client inquiries regarding benefits, compliance, and workforce planning.

• Offer advice on labor laws and cultural differences in Southern Europe.

• Evaluate and provide counsel on employment contracts and risk management strategies.

• Assist clients in navigating Performance Improvement Plans and ensure prompt salary adjustments.

• Support employees' immigration and mobility requirements in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.

• Identify tasks that can be delegated, document processes, and guarantee a seamless transition.

• Promote automation and the adoption of AI to enhance HR operations.

• Oversee compliance governance initiatives throughout Southern Europe.

• Spearhead global initiatives to standardize and enhance HR practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience.

• Proficiency in both French and English is essential.

• Extensive knowledge of labor laws and a solid understanding of employment regulations in Southern Europe, particularly in France (portage salarial).

• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations scenarios.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.

• Familiarity with the EOR industry is preferred.

• Experience working in other Southern European countries is a plus.
