HR Specialist – Assistant Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as GoGlobal’s local representative in India.

• Welcome local employees and supervise the onboarding process.

• Act as the primary contact for clients in India.

• Manage HR operations including onboarding, probation oversight, time and attendance tracking, contract renewals, resignations, and terminations.

• Maintain HR data, documentation, agreements, and employment contracts.

• Function as an escalation point for clients and employees, promptly resolving any issues.

• Keep abreast of HR trends, labor regulations, and statutory changes in India, relaying updates to relevant teams.

• Collaborate with the payroll team.

• Draft HR letters, such as addenda to employment agreements.

• Monitor employment contracts and assist with verifying expense receipts.

• Provide administrative support for sourcing office space, managing office operations, processing medical insurance applications, facilitating bank account openings, and sourcing and purchasing office equipment.

• Offer visa services in a timely manner.

• Undertake additional ad hoc projects as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of HR experience.

• In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.

• Experience with ESOP.

• Background in EOR, HR consulting, or multinational organizations is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Openness to perform additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
