HR Shared Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate a thoughtful and impactful employee experience within HR Shared Services.

• Deliver analytical support and operational management across intricate HR and complete employee lifecycle functions.

• Evaluate data, generate insights, address issues, engage in special projects, and promote process enhancements, including the integration of emerging AI technologies.

• Recognize gaps and inefficiencies, proposing standardization and enhancements throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Assist employees, managers, HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Compensation, L&D, Legal, and IT with lifecycle processes and systems.

• Manage Tier II specialized support for immigration, unemployment, complex employee matters, and data integrity within Workday and other enterprise systems.

• Enhance shared services tools, systems, employee self-service capabilities, workflow automation, and user adoption.

• Oversee FreshService ticketing systems and tools that support metrics and reporting.

• Generate monthly and quarterly data insights for internal stakeholders and the People team.

• Investigate employment laws and assist in developing legally compliant policies, compliance procedures, and audit standards.

• Offer recommendations to Shared Services leadership and sustain vendor relationships.

• Lead and engage in ad hoc People team initiatives.

• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

• Acquire and apply new technologies and role-specific tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in HR within a people-centric or HR operations capacity.

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

• Strong creative and analytical abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Adaptability in modifying plans based on internal and external feedback.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to engage with all levels of the organization.

• Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and HRIS.

• Quick to learn new systems and tools.

• Expertise in analyzing and synthesizing metrics and data to discern trends, patterns, and opportunities.
