This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee HR Operations for North America throughout the employee lifecycle, while collaborating on specific global processes and initiatives.
β’ Drive operational excellence in managing employee transitions, leave policies, separations, compliance, documentation, and employee support.
β’ Take ownership of and enhance core HR systems, workflows, and operational infrastructure with an emphasis on scalability, usability, control, and reliability.
β’ Convert policy into straightforward, actionable processes and establish sustainable operating practices, documentation, and governance.
β’ Enhance workflows for contractors, consultants, advisors, and other non-employee groups.
β’ Lead and mentor junior HR Operations team members, fostering clarity, accountability, and improved performance within the team.
β’ Collaborate closely with the People Team, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and other stakeholders to optimize business processes.
β’ Identify points of friction, minimize manual tasks, and implement practical applications of AI, automation, and agentic workflows to enhance quality, speed, and scalability.
β’ Assist the function in evolving for the future by developing infrastructure capable of supporting a more complex organization over time, including phases of rapid growth, change, or integration.
β’ Take the lead on select sensitive employee relations issues including investigations, policy reviews, and decision-making processes.
β’ Propel strategic projects and initiatives to enhance our readiness for the future (e.g., planning for technological changes, new global time-off policies).
β’ Extensive experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR systems-focused roles, with responsibility for regional or multi-jurisdictional operations.
β’ A minimum of 9+ years of progressive experience in HR systems, operational infrastructure, employee lifecycle management, policy execution, and service delivery.
β’ Previous experience in people management, including significant experience in coaching and developing junior team members.
β’ Strong systems orientation and familiarity with HRIS platforms, workflow tools, reporting, and process design.
β’ Experience in supporting company growth and change, with a strong preference for exposure to M&A, integration, or organizational transition work.
β’ Ability to envision beyond the present moment and design for the company's future direction, not just its current state.
β’ Exceptional communication skills with the capability to transform ambiguity into clear actionable steps.
β’ Experience in an AI-driven, high-growth, or highly innovative environment, with credible suggestions for how AI and agentic approaches can enhance HR Operations.
