This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Deliver comprehensive HR support and expertise to clients across various industries
β’ Partner with clients to comprehend their HR needs, challenges, and objectives
β’ Provide advice on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and benefits
β’ Create and execute customized HR policies, procedures, and practices
β’ Address employee relations concerns, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace investigations
β’ Assist with recruitment and onboarding, encompassing job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
β’ Offer guidance on talent retention, career development, and succession planning
β’ Develop performance evaluation frameworks and support the performance appraisal process
β’ Keep abreast of employment laws and regulations and assist with compliance audits and investigations
β’ Identify training requirements and create tailored training programs
β’ Facilitate HR workshops and seminars
β’ Manage health, dental, vision, retirement, life, and disability benefits administration
β’ Oversee open enrollment and assist employees in selecting plans
β’ Handle LOA/FMLA/STD/LTD requests
β’ Evaluate HR technology needs and recommend appropriate systems or tools
β’ Implement and enhance HRIS and other HR software solutions
β’ Act as a trusted advisor while adapting to diverse organizational cultures, structures, and challenges
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
β’ 5+ years of HR experience, preferably within a consulting or professional services setting
β’ SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred
β’ Expertise in California employment laws is required
β’ Experience with non-profit organizations is an advantage
β’ Demonstrated experience in HR consulting or generalist roles, particularly serving multiple clients
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
β’ Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
β’ Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively
β’ Flexibility in working hours to meet clients' needs
β’ Commitment to confidentiality and discretion in the handling of sensitive HR issues
β’ Reliable high-speed Internet connection and a dedicated home office or workspace
β’ Capability to conduct video meetings
β’ Ability to work for extended periods while seated at a computer for 8+ hours per day
β’ Proof of eligibility to work in the US
β’ Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
