
HR Local Representative, Taiwan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
β’ Serve as the main HR contact for employees and clients in Taiwan.
β’ Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes.
β’ Offer guidance on HR policies, employment terms, and local labor laws.
β’ Address employee inquiries regarding HR issues, payroll, and benefits.
β’ Support employee lifecycle activities, including documentation and record maintenance.
β’ Keep abreast of changes in Taiwan labor laws and provide advice to internal stakeholders.
β’ Aid in benefits administration, including insurance and statutory registrations.
β’ Ensure compliance with local regulations and facilitate audits.
β’ Maintain precise employee data updates and filing within systems.
β’ Assist with setting up bank accounts.
β’ Coordinate medical insurance arrangements.
β’ Provide office and administrative support as necessary.
β’ Act as an escalation point for employee and client issues.
β’ Support HR and business teams with various ad hoc projects.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR generalist or specialist role in Taiwan.
β’ Strong understanding of Taiwan labor laws and statutory requirements.
β’ Experience in HR service or consulting, or a role in a shared service center at multinational companies is advantageous.
β’ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
β’ Experience in payroll processing is a plus.
β’ Proficient communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
β’ Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
