This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire recruiting process at Spotlight Media, from the initial job opening to candidate handoff and hiring.
• Create and implement proactive recruiting strategies while engaging in outbound recruiting through LinkedIn, email, direct messaging, job boards, and professional networks.
• Identify and source candidates for diverse organizational roles.
• Evaluate applications, conduct screening calls and first-round interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, communication skills, experience, cultural fit, and potential.
• Formulate interview questions and evaluation criteria, providing constructive feedback to hiring managers and leadership.
• Organize interviews and maintain the candidate pipeline, recruitment database, and applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Enhance recruiting processes, monitor recruiting metrics, build candidate pipelines, and refine job postings for maximum effectiveness.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, equipment management, system access, account setups, property returns, and access removals.
• Keep employee records, HR policies, compensation records, and time-off tracking up to date.
• Assist in payroll processing and liaise with payroll providers or leadership as necessary.
• Act as an HR contact for employees, collaborating with managers on performance, workplace issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Manage sensitive employee information with confidentiality while providing HR support to leadership.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in HR and/or recruiting.
• Extensive hands-on recruiting experience, especially in outbound candidate sourcing.
• Proficient in conducting phone and video screenings as well as first-round interviews.
• Experience in recruiting for a variety of roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete recruiting lifecycle.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in interviewing and evaluating candidates.
• Capability to manage multiple open positions and HR duties concurrently.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information appropriately.
• Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, Ashby, payroll systems, and other HR technology platforms.
• High proficiency in Google Workspace and standard business software.
