This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.
β’ Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, which includes onboarding, offboarding, management of employee files, and administration of benefits.
β’ Collaborate with hiring managers to establish role-specific onboarding processes.
β’ Ensure compliance for new hires, including I-9 verification, state filings for new hires, and adherence to benefits enrollment deadlines.
β’ Investigate federal, state, and local employment law regulations.
β’ Supervise HR systems and procedures to ensure compliance.
β’ Create and modify policies and procedures for leadership assessment and approval.
β’ Prepare and keep updated offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding resources.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries.
β’ Offer policy guidance and resolve day-to-day issues independently, escalating complex cases as necessary.
β’ Work alongside People Operations Associates and HR Administrators to respond to inquiries and share knowledge on policies and processes.
β’ Assist in employee engagement activities, including surveys, recognition initiatives, team-building events, and offsite gatherings.
β’ Gather feedback aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
β’ Optimize and document HR processes utilizing AI tools to expedite research, draft documentation, and minimize manual tasks.
β’ Report directly to the Director of HR Operations.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in any discipline (preferred experience section).
β’ 2β4 years of practical HR generalist experience.
β’ Experience preferred in a small or rapidly growing organization with ownership over the complete employee lifecycle.
β’ Familiarity with HR compliance and basic principles of employment law.
β’ Capability to research and implement new employment regulations.
β’ Experience in developing and implementing HR automations and systems.
β’ Comfortable navigating HRIS platforms.
β’ Preferred certifications include SHRM-CP or PHR.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Strong judgment, with the capacity to uphold integrity, compliance, and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
β’ Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada for full-time salaried positions.
β’ Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
