This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Oversee the complete cycle of recruiting activities, from job postings to pre-employment coordination.
• Advertise job openings, source candidates, evaluate applications, perform initial screenings, arrange interviews, and communicate with both candidates and hiring managers.
• Keep job postings, screening questions, candidate records, interview materials, and updates on recruiting status organized.
• Collaborate with hiring managers regarding position specifications, recruitment priorities, interview procedures, and timelines for hiring.
• Assist in preparing job offers, conducting background checks, performing reference checks, and facilitating the handoff to onboarding.
• Monitor recruiting activities and generate reports on job vacancies, candidate progression, hiring status, and time-to-fill metrics.
• Manage employee benefits processes including tracking eligibility, enrolling new hires, processing life-event changes, managing terminations, and handling employee communications.
• Address routine inquiries related to employee benefits and refer complex issues as necessary.
• Verify benefit enrollments and payroll-related benefit details for accuracy, coordinating any required corrections.
• Keep benefit records updated and assist with open enrollment, employee education, audits, reconciliations, and necessary notifications.
• Maintain employee and applicant documentation within HR systems and personnel files.
• Aid in onboarding, orientation, employment transitions, training assignments, leave management, and offboarding processes.
• Support HR reporting, audits, policy management, employee communications, and initiatives for process improvement.
• Refer sensitive, complex, or higher-risk issues to the HR Director.
• Stay updated on HR practices and relevant employment regulations.
• Timely report any errors, delays, compliance issues, or obstacles to the HR Director.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of pertinent experience in human resources, specifically in recruiting.
• Familiarity with standard processes related to recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities, maintain precise records, adhere to deadlines, and follow through with minimal daily supervision.
• Proven ability to exercise discretion and safeguard confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or similar office software.
• Willingness to learn HR, applicant-tracking, and benefits systems.
• Occasional travel to BHC locations across Wisconsin may be necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational leadership, or a similar field.
• Preferred: Experience in benefits administration, applicant-tracking systems, HR information systems, or healthcare recruitment.
• Preferred: Background in a behavioral health, healthcare, or multi-site organization.
• Preferred: Professional HR certification or a strong interest in obtaining certification.
• Primarily remote work from a home office.
• Occasional travel to BHC locations throughout Wisconsin.
• Required training sessions, which include new-hire orientation, HIPAA and privacy training, information security, compliance, HR-system training, and other role-specific training.
