This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
β’ Oversee the complete cycle of recruiting tasks assigned, which includes posting job openings, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, performing initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and engaging with candidates and hiring managers.
β’ Ensure that job postings, screening questions, candidate records, interview materials, and updates on recruiting status are accurate and up-to-date.
β’ Collaborate with hiring managers to define position specifications, set recruiting priorities, outline interview processes, and establish expected hiring timelines.
β’ Assist in the preparation of job offers, manage pre-employment requirements, conduct background checks, reference verifications, and facilitate the transition to onboarding.
β’ Deliver a professional, responsive, and consistent experience to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
β’ Monitor recruiting activities and generate regular reports on job vacancies, candidate flow, hiring progress, and trends in time-to-fill.
β’ Manage the assigned employee benefits processes, including tracking eligibility, enrolling new hires, handling life-event changes, terminations, and communicating with employees.
β’ Address routine inquiries from employees concerning benefit eligibility, enrollment procedures, payroll deductions, plan resources, and vendor contacts.
β’ Verify the accuracy of benefit enrollments and payroll-related benefit information, coordinating necessary corrections.
β’ Keep organized records of benefits and assist with annual open enrollment, employee education, audits, reconciliations, and mandatory notices.
β’ Safeguard confidential health and benefit information, adhering to relevant plan documents, policies, and legal obligations.
β’ Maintain precise records for employees and applicants in HR systems and personnel files.
β’ Support onboarding, orientation, employment modifications, training assignments, leave management, and offboarding processes.
β’ Assist with HR reporting, audits, policy enforcement, employee communications, and initiatives for process improvement.
β’ Provide assistance to employees and managers, escalating sensitive, complex, or high-risk issues to the HR Director.
β’ Stay updated on HR practices and relevant employment regulations.
β’ Report any errors, delays, compliance issues, or obstacles to the HR Director.
β’ A minimum of 1-2 years of pertinent experience in human resources, particularly in recruiting roles.
β’ Familiarity with standard recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee record processes.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Capability to juggle multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, meet deadlines, and execute tasks with minimal daily supervision.
β’ Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
β’ Proficient in Google Workspace or similar office software.
β’ Willingness to learn HR, applicant-tracking, and benefits systems.
β’ Occasional travel to various BHC locations across Wisconsin may be necessary.
β’ Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational leadership, or a related discipline.
β’ Preferred: Experience in benefits administration, applicant-tracking systems, HR information systems, or healthcare recruiting.
β’ Preferred: Experience in a behavioral health, healthcare, or multi-site organization.
β’ Preferred: Professional HR certification or intent to pursue certification.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, utilize standard office technology, maintain focus despite routine interruptions, and occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift and carry office materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
β’ Primarily remote work from a home office.
β’ Occasional travel to BHC locations throughout Wisconsin.
β’ Required training, including new-hire orientation, HIPAA and privacy, information security, compliance, HR-system training, and other role-specific training.
