HR Employee Relations Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Execute thorough investigations into employee relations issues, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace violence.

• Deliver clear and timely communications regarding investigations, including reports, summaries, and supporting documentation.

• Provide support and coaching to leaders in managing attendance-related cases.

• Organize and facilitate learning workshops to transfer knowledge to leaders.

• Utilize effective interviewing and documentation methods.

• Oversee case management using the ServiceNow online case management platform.

• Aid in the preparation of works council meetings and associated documentation.

• Foster the development of an inclusive and positive workplace culture.

• Assist and coach managers in creating, implementing, and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans.

• Collaborate with business and HR leaders when evaluating termination decisions.

• Report directly to the Senior Employee Relations Manager.

• Handle employee issues to resolution and support employee relations programs and policies across Poland, Bulgaria, and Germany.

• Engage with employees, management, Legal, HR Business Partners, and external stakeholders to maintain positive employee relations and address workplace challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in human resource management or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Employee Relations domain.

• Professional fluency in both German and English.

• Proficiency in either Polish or Bulgarian is necessary.

• Experience in conducting investigations and providing guidance on sensitive and complex employee relations matters, such as performance management, interpersonal conflicts, leaves, accommodations, and behavioral issues.

• Understanding of basic employment and labor laws relevant to Poland and Bulgaria; knowledge of German laws is advantageous.

• Ability to solve problems with little guidance and a readiness to seek assistance when needed.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.

• Capability to carry out thorough and comprehensive investigations.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision required.

• Willingness to manage competing priorities and assist others in a team setting.

• Capacity to make timely, well-informed, and objective decisions.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
