HR Consultant – Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver professional HR and consulting services on an outsourced basis to a diverse range of clients spanning various industries.

• Oversee daily HR and administrative operations for clients, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, creating policies and handbooks, managing recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and reporting.

• Collaborate with payroll processors to facilitate manual changes and system updates while ensuring data integrity within the HRIS/payroll system (ADP).

• Conduct full-cycle recruitment services for various positions at all levels within a client’s organization, which includes applicant tracking, interviewing, and performing reference/background checks.

• Partner with brokers to develop group benefits plans and oversee the complete benefits administration process, including open enrollment, plan design, addressing employee inquiries, and auditing invoices.

• Address HR-related inquiries and requests from both internal and external parties via the dedicated Advantage HR mailbox.

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and employees as a reliable HR resource through effective communication and timely fulfillment of responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in place of a degree.

• A minimum of one year of experience in HR.

• Proficient in all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Significant experience with Excel and other data analysis tools is preferred.

• Prior experience with ATS platforms, with a preference for ADP.

• Strong understanding of payroll processes, requirements, and regulations.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of interacting with internal colleagues and external clients at all organizational levels.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously for various clients.

• HRCI / SHRM certification is preferred.
