πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Offer classification and evaluation support for various Lines of Business and Staff Offices.

β€’ Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in Federal position classification.

β€’ Create job descriptions and classify roles in accordance with relevant position classification standards.

β€’ Implement standardized position descriptions across a range of occupations, where applicable.

β€’ Advise managers on the design of positions within a complex organizational structure.

β€’ Ensure accuracy and consistency in position classification by correctly interpreting and applying classification standards.

β€’ Monitor classification appeal outcomes and evaluate their effects on the organization and its practices.

β€’ Counsel management on creating efficient and cost-effective organizational structures that align with desired grade/band levels.

β€’ Provide guidance on intricate position and organizational structure challenges.

β€’ Communicate internal classification policies and procedures effectively.

β€’ Deliver high-level operational and consultative classification services, including quality control for daily classification tasks.

β€’ Conduct position reviews and desk audits as assigned to evaluate pay plans, titles, series, and grade/band levels.

β€’ Prepare audit reports.

β€’ Offer advice and guidance on relevant policies and procedures.

β€’ Relay FAA positions, policies, and procedures both internally and externally.

β€’ Provide requested items to the Director or their designee.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a closely related field; or, if lacking a BA degree, at least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in staffing, talent acquisition, or related HR fields.

β€’ A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in staffing, talent acquisition, or related HR roles.

β€’ Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.

β€’ Experience in position classifications.

β€’ Previous experience in Federal Government Staffing or Human Resources.

β€’ Capability to work within the United States.
