HR Business Partner – Field Operations

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the main HR partner for dental practices within a designated division.

β€’ Cultivate strong working relationships with senior leadership, directors, practice managers, doctors, and other operational leaders within the division.

β€’ Offer guidance and coaching on employee relations issues, such as performance challenges, attendance, conduct, workplace conflicts, communication problems, policy implementation, and corrective actions.

β€’ Carry out and assist in fair, thorough, and timely workplace investigations; record findings, evaluate risks, and suggest resolutions.

β€’ Counsel leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, involuntary separations, job abandonment, and other employment-related decisions.

β€’ Interpret and apply company policies, employment practices, and relevant employment laws.

β€’ Identify and escalate issues that pose significant legal, financial, employee, or reputational risks.

β€’ Collaborate with practice and division leadership to address employee concerns, enhance team dynamics, and resolve operational challenges.

β€’ Mentor leaders on effective communication, documentation, conflict resolution, accountability, and proactive employee management.

β€’ Assist with leave, accommodation, wage and hour, workers' compensation, and compliance matters.

β€’ Track employee relations activities and workforce trends; pinpoint recurring issues and propose data-driven solutions.

β€’ Consistently execute company programs and initiatives across practices alongside HR colleagues and operational partners.

β€’ Promote engagement and retention by aiding leaders in understanding employee feedback and developing action plans.

β€’ Engage in talent reviews, succession planning discussions, workforce planning, organizational changes, and leadership development activities.

β€’ Aid leaders in managing and communicating operational, organizational, and workforce modifications.

β€’ Keep accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in designated systems.

β€’ Address inquiries and requests with sound judgment, professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset.

β€’ Lead HR projects or initiatives as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

β€’ A minimum of three years of progressive human resources experience, including significant employee relations and manager consultation work.

β€’ Experience in supporting investigations, performance management, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employment-related risk assessments.

β€’ Strong working knowledge of employee relations practices and applicable federal and state employment laws.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to investigate sensitive workplace issues, evaluate facts impartially, and provide practical, risk-aware recommendations.

β€’ Capability to establish credibility and trust with leaders and employees across multiple locations.

β€’ Excellent consultation, coaching, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

β€’ Ability to balance employee advocacy, business needs, policy consistency, and legal compliance.

β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to manage difficult or emotionally charged discussions.

β€’ Strong judgment and discretion regarding confidential and sensitive information.

β€’ Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, urgent matters, and a geographically dispersed client group in a fast-paced setting.

β€’ Familiarity with utilizing HR data and trends to identify opportunities and influence leader actions.

β€’ Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a proactive approach and commitment to follow-through.

β€’ Willingness to travel to practices within the assigned division as business needs arise.
