This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Act as a reliable HR consultant to business owners, executives, leaders, and managers.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of each client's operations, organizational structure, workforce, financial priorities, and strategic goals.
• Offer actionable HR insights that align with business objectives, operational requirements, financial implications, employee experiences, and organizational risks.
• Counsel and guide leaders on matters related to employee relations, performance management, workplace disputes, investigations, corrective actions, terminations, and employee communications.
• Analyze and implement employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices effectively.
• Collaborate with clients on workforce planning, organizational development, retention strategies, employee engagement, talent management, and leadership training.
• Spot HR trends, workforce risks, and opportunities, providing suitable recommendations.
• Assist in navigating organizational changes, restructures, leadership transitions, and various workforce initiatives.
• Conduct or support workplace investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.
• Oversee HR compliance and suggest necessary corrective measures.
• Design and deliver HR training programs and manager education sessions.
• Work alongside recruiting, operations, and other internal teams to ensure comprehensive HR support.
• Keep precise and confidential records for employees, clients, and the business.
• Raise significant employee relations, compliance, or business risks to the HR Services Director.
• Navigate multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Travel to client sites for meetings, training, investigations, and other business requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of progressive HR experience, including roles such as HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar positions.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or an equivalent certification, or a commitment to obtain certification within the first year.
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
• Strong business acumen with the capability to link people, operations, financial outcomes, customer needs, and business strategies.
• Proven experience advising managers and senior leaders on complex employee and workforce issues.
• Excellent coaching, communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential situations.
• Capability to establish trusted relationships with leaders, managers, employees, and clients.
• Proficient in HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally approximately 50% of the time.
• A dedicated workspace and reliable internet access.
• Capacity to work efficiently both virtually and in-person.
• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Proficient communication skills via phone, video, email, and in-person interactions.
• Capability to occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 10 pounds.
