This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +11 more states.
β’ Establish and nurture business partner relationships with executives, management, and teams.
β’ Recognize business objectives and challenges, developing solutions for systemic issues.
β’ Provide guidance to executives and assist management teams in enhancing organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, training, and development.
β’ Analyze HR trends and metrics, conduct exit interviews, and evaluate turnover and engagement statistics.
β’ Collaborate with practice leaders to create uniform people solutions, programs, and policies.
β’ Advise, influence, and coach leaders to foster a diverse, inclusive, productive, and high-integrity workplace.
β’ Offer counsel on restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
β’ Mentor and guide managers on employee relations matters.
β’ Assist managers with performance improvement plans and involuntary terminations.
β’ Conduct intricate employee relations investigations and suggest or execute actions.
β’ Work together with business leaders on employee development and talent planning initiatives.
β’ Support annual reviews and employee development strategies.
β’ Create strategies to maximize HR tools, including UKG HCM.
β’ Generate HR-related information for practices or disciplines during the RFP process.
β’ Stay informed about employee-management legal requirements and collaborate with the legal department.
β’ Lead HR team projects, overseeing schedules, resources, accountability, processes, and timelines.
β’ Partner with project managers to plan, drive, and monitor project progress.
β’ Identify and implement process enhancements.
β’ Track project status, manage issues, and escalate as necessary.
β’ Bachelorβs degree and/or relevant industry experience.
β’ At least 10 years of experience in resolving complex employee relations issues.
β’ SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential or HRCI certification.
β’ Proficient understanding of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and state and federal employment laws.
β’ Professional and consultative demeanor with executives, leaders, management, and employees at all levels.
β’ Strong capability to influence decisions, build consensus, and achieve results.
β’ Excellent communication skills.
β’ Prior experience with organizational design.
β’ Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information in a professional and diplomatic manner.
β’ Competence in handling multiple priorities and assignments effectively.
β’ Flexibility while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
β’ Strong judgment and adaptability in uncertain and variable environments.
β’ Capacity to work with a high degree of independence.
β’ Ability to work remotely.
