This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic HR partner to leaders across various business units and legal entities.
• Provide counsel on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
• Manage intricate employee relations issues, encompassing investigations, performance challenges, conflict resolution, and separations.
• Oversee the performance management lifecycle, which includes goal-setting, evaluations, calibration, performance improvement plans, and coaching for managers.
• Advise leaders on employment practices and compliance across numerous countries.
• Develop and implement engagement, retention, and workforce-planning HR programs across different entities.
• Evaluate turnover, engagement, and performance data to suggest interventions.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards and Payroll to ensure competitive and compliant compensation and benefits.
• Mentor and develop people managers in leadership, feedback, and change management.
• Assist with the integration of acquired teams and uphold company values.
• Lead or assist in cross-entity HR projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate on M&A activities, including integration planning and harmonization of people practices.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience.
• At least 2-3 years of experience supporting complex organizations with multiple entities or countries.
• Proven track record in leading employee relations investigations and managing complex performance processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of employment practices and HR compliance within the US, Canada, UK, and New Zealand, or a strong ability to quickly adapt to new jurisdictions.
• Experience working with senior leaders at the Director level and above as a strategic HR advisor.
• Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and coaching abilities.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.
• The final candidate must successfully pass a background check.
• Preferred: experience within private equity-backed, holding company, or multi-business-unit settings.
• Preferred: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or an equivalent HR certification.
• Preferred: experience with M&A activities, integration planning, and aligning HR practices post-acquisition.
• Preferred: experience in standardizing HR policies, processes, or HRIS systems across acquired entities.
• Preferred: knowledge of payroll, benefits, and compensation structures in North America, the UK, and ANZ.
• Preferred: background in SaaS, technology, or professional services sectors.
