Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services in the comfort of pets' homes.

• Operate independently while providing support to families during end-of-life care.

• Conduct a limited number of appointments daily at a relaxed pace.

• Listen to families, clarify care options, and honor each pet's unique story.

• Assist families in saying goodbye with dignity and tranquility.

• Address challenging questions with empathy and understanding.

• Engage in onboarding, mentorship, and continuous professional development.

• Serve clients in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and nearby regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Select four weekend days per month that best suit your lifestyle.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record assessment prior to start date.
