Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services in the comfort of pets' homes.

• Operate independently while traveling throughout Baltimore, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Maryland, and nearby areas.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day, ensuring a thoughtful and unhurried approach.

• Engage with families, clarify end-of-life choices, and assist them in saying farewell with dignity and tranquility.

• Take part in meaningful onboarding and individual mentorship sessions.

• Provide care to families and pets with compassion, dignity, respect, and empathy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• Current U.S. Driver's License.

• Select four weekend days each month that suit your lifestyle.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record assessment prior to the start date.
