Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services encompassing general housekeeping and bed-making duties.

• Clean, mop, and vacuum various floor surfaces.

• Wash, fold, and iron clothes.

• Prepare meals and manage grocery shopping.

• Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering, and dressing.

• Aid clients in taking their medications.

• Support mobility and therapy objectives.

• Provide specialized care for clients with significant care requirements, such as those living with dementia.

• Offer social and emotional support to clients.

• Transport clients to recreational activities or appointments.

• Give family caregivers respite or opportunities to attend to other matters.

• Work autonomously, find solutions to daily challenges, and seek managerial assistance when necessary.

• Deliver safe, personalized, connected, and efficient care to elderly clients in their homes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months experience in a similar professional capacity.

• Experience in providing personal care.

• Proficient in manual handling practices.

• Completed hoist training.

• Familiarity with medication administration.

• Possession of a valid Australian Driver's Licence.

• Must have an insured, roadworthy vehicle.

• Capability to work independently and address everyday issues effectively.

• Ability to foster positive relationships with clients and their families.

• Commitment to delivering exceptional service.

• Completion of a Statutory Declaration, National Police check, Working Rights check, and pre-employment functional assessment prior to the start date.

• Certificate 3 is not a prerequisite.
